I came directly off a Katana 750 to a '99 Sprint, and one of the big
selling points was how at home I felt on the Sprint. I've never
jumped on a new bike and felt so at home as far as ergonomics and
handling. The Katana had a bit more tendency to fall into a corner,
but everything else seemed about equal. Except for the torque. And
being a huge fan of torque, I was immediately sold on the ST.
