[ST] Re: Torque

I saw it a preview with a free pass.

Hmmmm. How shall I put it?

It's an action/adventure/live cartoon...yea! That's it!

Lots of silly bike stunts done by CGI. Lots of flimflammery
to make things look like they're really happening. A Daytona
riding across unpaved desert and plowed farm fields?
Bikes that don't bounce when they're riding between the rails
of the train track? Wheelies that happen at right angles from
travel direction? 200mph, 90 degree right turns through downtown
city streets?

I don't think so.

But if you have the expectation that the movie will be silly and
physically impossible at times, you can sit back and laugh and
enjoy it as a piece of fluff rather than blowing a gasket about
how unrealistic and stereotypical it is.
