[ST] Advice Needed - Seats!!

Derek -

Corbin, Russell, Sargent, etc. have excellent reputations. if you can get
some saddle time on each, you can decide if the shape of that maker suits
the shape your Maker gave you. check out the LDRider pages for seat
reviews, those guys use the serious gear.

because i'm "frugal", i have an Airhawk inflatable seat with a piece of
[real] sheepskin over it on the stock ST seat. the combination gives me 1)
no 'hot spots' and 2) <ahem> posterior ventilation. pluses: it really
works, it's relatively cheap at about $160, and i can slap it on any bike
in a couple of minutes. minuses: it's not exactly stylish, and the cushion
pressure wants adjusting from cold mornings to hot afternoons.

the rig is good enough to come back from a 2,000 mile weekend with no butt
issues.
