[ST] RE: st-digest V2004 #45

I've got a Sargent that I love. Heard a few complaints about it on the
list early on, however from what I could figure most were trying to ride
right back in the bowl of the seat, which makes it a bit of a reach. It
actually has 2 sweet spots, up by the tank and back in the bowl. I ride
close to the tank, which I find gives best control and good for pushing
through corners. Slide back to the bowl from time to time to change the
contact point. Met a Corbin owner on recent ride and he complained about
legs being forced wide, and having to mod the seat to get it to fit.

The Gel seat has received a few knocks down here - not so comfortable
and burns your bum if the bike is left in the sun.

Cheers
Robert R
