RE: [ST] Shifting problems

I noticed since my bike was brand new that when the gearbox is cold, it is
VERY hard to shift it.  I was actually yanking on the shift lever
ridiculously hard.  Once the bike fully warmed up (more than just the
temperature gage raising up off of cold), it was fine.  In the summer it's
fine.  If I let the bike warm up for 10 minutes or so, I could ride off
fine.  So, it seems apparent to me that the shifting was in correlation to
the temperature of the gear box.  That said, the gearbox has gotten a lot
smoother/easier with mileage (both cold shifting isn't as tough, and warm
shifting isn't as clunky).  I would say somewhere up near 10,000 miles
seemed to be the point where I noticed the change.  Also, some powershifting
seemed to have loosened up the gearbox for easier/smoother shifting.

Ever since I got my new ST two months ago, I'm having shifting problems. I'm
not talking about the heavy clunk, but it's a pain getting it to shift from
2nd into 3rd rapidly. Sometime I have to double clutch, I just hate to force
it in that much, specially the first 10 minutes in the morning. Please tell
me it will get better! The bike had the break-in oil changed and has about
900 miles on the odo.
