MS Exchange server also has the option of setting whether it replies to
every time, are only once to each sender for the duration of the out of
office message..

If the system she's on is Unix or Linux, it won't respond again to the
digest email for at least two weeks.  It keeps a record of addresses
responded to and doesn't respond a second time.
