Re: [ST] loose mirror



I used a variation of Rick's technique.  First, I used a pair of vice grip 
pliers to slightly straiten (unbend?) the "teeth" of the serrated washer. 
This gave the washer a tighter grip on the pivot post.  Then I used a 
C-clamp to tighten the washer/post combo with the sockets as described by 
Rick (see below).

An added benefit of using a C-clamp instead of a bench vice is that you can 
skip the mirror base removal step and clamp it while it is still attached 
to the fairing.
