Not necessarily true, George. I was knocked completely cold when I came off
a few months ago. I was going no more than 15-20 mph, and wearing a full
face helment. I had no injuries except a few bruises, but I was out cold
until the paramedics showed up and woke me up. And I was groggy and
semi-conscious for another hour or so. Depends how you hit I guess.
