You know, I'd have to go with Howard on this one. You might consider this as an opportunity and custom paint your steed. That is is you're into that sort of thing.

I think you should get several estimates to have the
parts sanded, filled, resprayed and cleared and compare
them with replacement cost. Make sure you use paint
shops that will give you quality work. The quality of
work varies widely from shop to shop. To get OEM
quality requires a good amount of attention to detail.
