RE: [ST] Least hot h20 proof pants/jacket

I saw these at Daytona Bike Week 2004. I was impressed with the performance of the demo they had set up. They don't have armor, however they are breathable. So being worn over mesh armor gear would probably be feasable. Just a thought, it's your choice.

Subject: [ST] Least hot h20 proof pants/jacket

I've been looking online for waterproof pants and jacket that also has armor
in it and can be used in extremely hot (i.e. Houston) weather. So far, I've
only found one item that seems like it fits the bill and that is the
Aerostitch RoadCrafter. At $700+ it's a little steep for my taste, but I
might end up getting that.

What suggestions/experience do you have with waterproof, hot weather,
protective clothing?

Thanks
