I started this sh*t and I stated that my shifting problem WAS operator 
error. I'm sure there are brands with better trannys. I don't think liSTers 
mind the knocks. I sure don't. That's one of the reasons I've stayed sub'd 
for nearly 4 years - so I can identify problems ideally before they arise 
and prevent them.

As far as I can tell these bikes are pretty darn reliable. There's nothing 
out there I would want more for a daily rider - I just 4 months ago picked 
up my second 2000 with 1674 miles for $5500 usd. What a freakin bargain.
