RE: [ST] Bob Nixon down

Reading this report has sunk my heart. Words cannot describe my pain for Bob, but having experienced pain of my own I understand what Bob and his family are going through.

{A paragraph from a Russell Kelfer poem}

"No, that the trauma you faced was not easy.
And God wept that it hurt you so;
But it was allowed to shape your heart
So that into his likeness you'd grow."

It's difficult to see in the immediate present, but there will be good that comes of this. Believers or not, we all know that our neck is on the line every time we mount and drive off, and this is a time for us to unite our thoughts and prayers for Bob and his family.

Besides an address, if anyone on the list is close and personal to Bob and his family printing these responses and giving them to his kin would be a great support and comfort to them.

Regards,

Rich

This was a bad one. As did Brian, I went over to rec.motorcycles as well.
Lotsa brokens bones. Lots of concern. If anyone here does know of a
address we can send well wishes, please let us know.

Godspeed, Bob.
