Bummer.  That a similar engine to the RS, right?  Then how come Triumph
published 108 bhp for my 2000 RS.  Looks like that number must be at the
crank then.

So then the Daytona's published 147bhp must be like 138-140 at the rear
wheel then, eh?

We cheapo, detuned engine owners can spend $7200 on a Stage two turbo kit
http://www.boostisgood.com/start.html to get 180+ rear wheel HP.  Or, do an
engine rebuild http://www.wilcoxengines.demon.co.uk/sprint-kit.htm to get
about 117PS (whatever that converts to in bhp)

Or trade-up for a GSXR-1000, R1, or CBR1000RR :)

I finally got the opportunity to throw my 2002 ST (completely stock 
w/lowered pipe for the panniers) up on a dyno this weekend.  We were only 
able to do HP runs.  I need to bring the shop manual next time so we know 
where to hook up all the sensors.

Anyway here are the results from 3 runs:

Run #1 = 97.42hp
Run #2 = 98.30hp
Run #3 = 98.70hp

These are rear wheel readings.  Nice straight line up through the 
peak.  The gas analyzer showed the bike running very lean!  Time to look 
into a new can, PC, and map!
