inherent in that blasted unit??>

intercepting the signal before the speedo should be ok; the cruise's job
is to hold whatever signal rate it sees, not knowing what mph that is
supposed to be. but i will trigger from a magnet, so i don't have to do
any homework on what the ST signal is. always hated homework...
