I use Parts Grab11 + GrabNa + craddle for Garmin Emap
(craddle for Garmin V in your case).

I've bolted Grab11 to the upper allen nut on the
clutch assembly. No pix but fairly obvious if you seat
on the bike. I leave Grab11 there permanently
