RE: [ST] RE: mp3 players and earbuds...

Thanks everyone. I had no idea there were so many options. Glad I asked. I think everything confirms that my desire to get an iPod is well placed, so that will probably be where I go. I'm not sure which size I want yet, the biggest capacity one seems just so damn expensive. And I think I can make do with less. 

As for earphones, I'll have to weigh whether or not to get the custom molded ones or a more generic set of nrr earbuds.
