RE: [ST] John's 98 ST



Yes, the "99" model was produced from September '98 and mine is an early 
one, although it was not run in when I bought it three years ago.  I've 
been riding since I was 12 and used to have a T140D up to '96, and couldn't 
stay away from 'bikes, even with a bad back!  Nice to have no oil leaks, 
realistic power and handling available when needed.  The ST had a carbon 
can but things have been tightened up in the UK and it wouldn't pass the 
annual test with it on.  Needless to say, I prefer the noise to the whisper 
from the legal can!
