[ST] 10,000 mile route

First I've got to give a hugh thank you to all who have been great and made
donations. If the other lists that it has gone to are even half as generous
it will be a very successful fundraiser for ACS. I'm starting to contact
the US headquarters for the motorcycle manufacturers, my local bike shops,
and other motorcycle businesses.

I've gotten a few requests aout my route. Unfortunately our upload is still
down so here it is verbally. This is the tentative plan right now.

July 2
>From Fort Wayne, IN I-69S to I-70W to I-57S to I-55S to Jackson, MS. I-20 E
to I-59N to Chattanooga.

July 3
Chattanooga, I-75N to I-40E to I-81N to I-76E to Philadelphia. I already
have a ticket to see the Phillies/Orioles, go O's, game with some friends,
last fall I moved from Pennsylvania. One of the friends grew up and went to
college with the guy who is the Phillie Phanatic. He's looking into getting
me secure parking so I can get to the game at gametime and I'll leave before
the traffic. Plus I'm going to try to get a donation from the Phillies and
Orioles. If I can't get the parking I'll skip the game. Leave the game and
go to Harrisburg.

July 4
Harrisburg, I-76W to I-70W to I-74W to I-39N to I-94W to Minneapolis

July 5
Minneapolis I-94W to I-90E in Montana to I-25S to Wheatland, WY

July 6
Wheatland I-25S to I-40W to Needles, CA

July 7
Needles I-40W to I-15S to Brea, CA for oil change and tires at Southern
California Triumph. I stopped there 2 years ago on my 4 Corners Ride and
was so pleased with their service and help that I planned out the route to
be there again this year. After service I-5N to Redding.

July 8
Redding I-5N to I-90E to Missoula, MT.

July 9
Missoula I-90E to the Fly Fishing Museum in Livingston, to I-90E to I-25S to
I-80E to Notrh Platte, NE

July 10
North Platte I-80E to Hastings, NE and breakfast with my dad, I-80E to I-29S
to I-70W to I-335S to I-35S to Oklahoma City and the Oklahoma City Memorial
if time, I-44 E to near Joplin, MO

July 11
Joplin I-44E to I-70E to I-69N to Fort Wayne, IN

10,370 miles

Of course this depends on traffic, stamina, service time, whether I go to
the game, and other unexpected factors.

I was also asked about joining me for a few miles down the road or meeting
for a meal. I usually only have a meal in the afternoon to miss the lunch
or dinner crowd and have granola, trail mix, etc, the rest of the day. 18
hours a day for almost 10 days is a long time to just have the many voices
in my head to listen too. It could perhaps be worked out. I'll have an
idea of when I'll be where. We could set it up before the trip and I could
call the day before I'd get there to let you know if I'm on schedule and the
call a few hours before I'd get to where we would meet. Let me know and
we'll see what can be worked out.

Thanks to everyone for your support.

Doug
