RE: [ST] 46mm socket for rear tire? (NOT a tire thread)



I found the Sears 1-13/16" socket at a Sears Hardware store a couple of 
years ago.  It works, but it's the 12 point type and the teeth are a bit 
recessed so it doesn't get as good of a bite on the nut as I would like.  I 
have used it on my last two wheel removals for tire changes, just have to 
make sure it's solidly pressed on.

By the way, not to start a tire thread or anything (heeding the warning in 
the subject line), but I have about 100 miles now on a set of Michelin Pilot 
Roads and I'm pretty impressed.  I'm coming off Avon AV45/46 combo.

Didn't want to push the new tires on the cold roads of NJ this morning, 
though....
