RE: [ST] Fuel gauge - bug or feature?



I was not quoting what my mileage was when getting on it - that wouldn't
do many people much good as there are way too many variables.  But we
can all ride around, commuting, highway and side street in front of the
house.  That's where this number comes from.  I've seen way less when
racing around with friends, and seen almost 300 when super-slabbing it
back home at a steady 75 mph for hours.  But you're run-of-the mill
riding is what I found to have the aforementioned mileage.

250 miles.  That's funny.  I'm still cracking up.  Thanks. :)

BTW, I'm amazed at all the wondrous mpg some get.  Maybe I just keep my
rpms up too high to ever get good mileage.
