Do you have a picture of what it finally looks like? I went to the
streetfighters web page and they describe a conversion kit, but they do
not show any pictures.

When I first got my RS nearly 5 years ago, I found it as
ill-fitting to my hand as do you. I replaced the bars with STs,... a
little better. I added GenMar risers,... better still as far as
height and reach were concerned but the ANGLE was still the same.
Not until I replaced the clip on set-up with the German LSL handlebar
conversion kit - choosing a bar bend between Daytona and Dirt Track -
was I able to fully enjoy my RS.
