Re: [ST] Bike Will Not Start

Hi there,

I've only had my ST two weeks now but I had exactly the same symptons, the
day after I got the bike. In my case it turned out to be a connector on a
small black electric cable coming from the clutch lever (presumably a
switch). Follow the cable from the clutch for a little while and I found a
connector that had become disconnected - easily fixed and it restored life
straight away!! Maybe this is the prob??

I tried bump starting it but even in fourth gear it wouldn't work and only
locked the rear wheel. My Fazer 1000 and VFR800 used to be easy to bump
start - maybe I haven't got the right technique with the Triumph yet!!

Cheers,

Andrew
