RE: [ST] floppy mirror fix?

Hi,
The mirrors are only 'floppy' if the spring is not compressed enough by the 
star washer that secures it.  If you use a small socket you can bridge the 
post the washer grips on, push the star washer further down and compress 
the spring some more.  Worked for me.

Anyone have experience fixing the "floppy" mirrors on the Sprint? Or 
replacing them with those from another model (Triumph or otherwise)?

The mirrors on my CBR F3 are really great, and it's a 7 year old bike...
