[ST] Re: st-digest V2004 #558



I installed this rack on my '02 RS a few weeks ago and
noticed some of these issues also.  

The plastic fender part had to be spread apart quite a
bit to make the bar fit, but it did go in.

Are you sure that you have the correct spacers under
the main supports?  My rack did not touch the plastic
when installed.  Likewise, are you using the correct
hole in the pillion peg bracket?  I seem to remember 2
holes there, although my memory isn't quite what it
used to be.
