sounds alot like a faulty side stand switch and/or the wiring related to 
the side stand switch.  possibly a bad connector from the ecu, but my 
money is on the former (been there once before..  took weeks to find the 
'real' problem).  disassemble the sidestand switch assembly.  clean, 
test, lather, rinse repeat.
