[ST] Corbin seat

Has anyone who ordered a Corbin Gunfighter seat for their ST had problems
snapping it into the rear seat catch?
The seat looks good and seems to fit well but the pin for catch seems to be
about a half inch too far back?
I almost dropped the bike trying to push it forward and align?
Any ideas?
