Jack,

No experience with the Corbin on the ST (I had one on my Trophy1200), but I 
do have a Sargent on the ST and it did not want to latch properly.  I used 
some washers under the latch assembly, about 1/4" in thickness worth, and it 
works much better.  Don't know if this fix would apply to your situation.  
But then I've never really been concerned with pertinence.
