Mike,

I had a look at your DID reference webpage and did not find ANY reference to WD40 either
for or against, which doesn't surprise me, since WD40 is a specific brand, and that might
open them up to legal action.

I was also going to question the manner of using the cleaner again, that is until I saw
that DID actually used the word 'IN' when describing cleaning with kersosene.  To me that
implies that it's also ok to immerse the chain in a bath of kersosene (as long as you
re-lube with the special DID stuff).  But I'll bet that NONE of you would remove your
chain just to clean it.

WD40 sure works well for removing road grime from the powder-coated rear wheel as long as
you keep it well away from the tire -- once again, spray the rag, not the wheel.
