[ST] Performance exhaust- Barracuda

I'm considering getting a performance exhaust to spruce up my 01 ST (20k km)
and -in the absence of any 05 in Oz and test rides- defer updating until at
least mid 06. Prefererance would be for a Triumph Stainless Steal, either
new or good second hand because I figure a few might come up with the 05s
arriving sometime soon. Do the internals degrade much with use? 
 
Or how about other makes? Anyone tried these? www.barracuda-exhaust.com
 
They're on e-bay for GBP100 plus shipping. I like the idea of a removable
'db killer' for track days. Err, do I need the slipon or bolt on?
