RE: [ST] EFI Tuning

Al,

Been there done that. In fact I bought the TuneBoy, that's why I was asking the question. Since no one wanted to venture an answer, I went with Wayne's Tune #10078 for the Sprint ST/RS up to VIN 139276 with aftermarket exhaust.

Although Wayne puts the caution disclaimer about wrong modification and engine damage, I trusted that he did his homework and the tune is up to snuff. I won't mess with my own manipulation until I know what I'm doing, but I think the "stock" will be just fine.

All I can say is WOW! what a difference in engine response with the new tune and the Two Bros. can. Combined with my 17/43 gearing and I can actually power wheelie the RS in second gear. I need to shift my weight back, but it's all power after that.

If any one is thinking about buying the TuneBoy, I would recommend it. Especially if you do track days and want top engine performance, plus you can check and reset the engine error codes. In the long run it beats $90/hr labor charges.
About 3.5 hours of tuneboying and it will pay for itself.

Rich
