RE: [ST] Chain Life

Denis I forget which year your ST is.
Mine is a 99 and came with 18/43
2000 and above came with 19/43

I went to 18/45 and like most who have done this I am very happy with
the change. It does move the RPM for highway cruising but only by a few
hundred RPM. The ST engine does have that slightly buzzy band but I
cannot remember what this translates to in MPH for the gearing I now
have.

The extra pep in lower gears was noticeable. If you have a 2000 and
above it would be even more noticeable.
