Oil companies and oil producers do maskerovka (the art of strategic
deception)  better than the old Soviet Union.  Prior to the Arab oil embargo
in the early 70's the US imported 6% of it's oil.   At the height of the
embargo, when the lines were the longest, the US was importing 14%.  Tankers
were told to burn holes in the water until prices went up.  Others were
stacked waiting for refineries to take them but the official word was the
oil was not available.  Bottom line is the public is being manipulated by
very powerful monopolies. What the real truth is won't be told to us bottom
feeders.
