It's really remarkable that this kind of tripe gets any credence at all.
Like "predatory pricing", the theory that large corp.'s could sell at
prices that would break their competition.  It was tried by a German
firm prior to WWII against an American firm that imported minerals into
Germany.  They cut their price in the US to ridiculous numbers, trying
to drive the US firm under.  Didn't work and the Germans lost their
shirts. Why?  When the price got below production cost, the US firm
simply bought the German's product and resold it in other markets.

The idea that any company can make more money by not selling it's
product is ridiculous.  Certainly there are examples of greed (or
attempted greed, i.e. Enron), but successful businesses with good
management know it's better to deal honestly than cheat.  

The issue is further clouded by the Environmental Industry, the
coalition of Greens, Ludites and former (?) commies who have a vested
interest in making us believe the Sky is Falling.

Turn off the TV and read some Econ books. 8>)
