RE: [ST] Size of steering head nut

So, since Jack Lilley seems to be the only site coming up on that search
term, (3880140-T0301), is that the best source for US listers, or...? I
ask as I definitely have a loose (or damaged) set of steering head
bearings. Skittles was totaled in a fork bending/fender destroying
accident, so it's no surprise. I feel a definite movement under hard
braking.

nut. I know that I don't have a socket that size and I forgot to look
in
the shop manual last night to see what size it is.

Brian,
The nut on top of the upper triple clamp is 30mm. The steering head
bearing adjuster nut is 38mm / 1-1/2". Triumph's special tool for it
is 3880140-T0301.
