Yesterday was a long day. Adam was out riding Saturday on a country
road in Connecticut (one lane each way). Two of the riders were
100-200 yards ahead of Adam. He was in the left tire track and another
rider was staggered behind him. An 87 year old woman coming in the
other direction put on her indicator (she was turning left not pulling
a u-turn). She came to a stop and them pulled out right in front of
Adam.

He suffered many broken bones but was conscious at the scene. He
appeared to have no spinal or brain injuries. They operated on his Leg
that night and his jaw the next day. He was expected to recover. Early
Monday morning he suffered a massive stroke.

Adam was an immensely likeable bloke. He was a cautious rider and wore
all the best gear. He was only 32. He will be missed by myself and
many others.

Here are a few things he wrote that I enjoyed
