I totally agree. An accident is an accident and things happen. That should
not be mandatory jail time. In my opinion, if you step into a car while
intoxicated and kill someone, it is premeditated murder. You can pick at
the definitions of manslaughter and premeditation all you want, but the
absolute fact is there was a decision made to put peoples lives at risk and
to hell with the consequences. Being on a cell phone and killing someone is
right up there too, maybe manslaughter, but I'm tired of this alcoholism is
a disease stuff, these guys kill way too many people.
