RE:[ST] 45t Steel Sprocket

David,
I didn't know it was four pounds different but I was primarily concerned
with wear. Your wear numbers are very interesting. The folks I talked
to, specifically Sprocket Specialist and the SprocketCenter told me that
the alloy sprockets have a much higher wear factor. One said if I was
getting 15 to 20 K out of the sprockets to expect 8-9K our of alloy.

The RS is sold and to a nice guy in Palm Bay, FL. The sprockets are going
on the love of my life, my ST. I just ordered JT's at 18/43 yesterday.
I'm actually going to run an OEM 19 most of the time but may just buy an
alloy 45 as a "spare". If I run 18/45 into the mountains, I better not
start another tire mileage thread cause I'll be erasing anything I put
back there.
Thanks,
Rod
