RE: [ST] baboons

IIRC, it was a King Cobra, and that was the Malaysian GP several years
ago (before I started watching MotoGP)... I don't think it survived.

Speaking of serious teeth, Did you notice what looked like a Cobra (yes
the
snake) on the race track in the video clip that Jack Hays sent? I think
it
was called "How not to get off a motorcycle."

Yikes!

Subject: [ST] baboons

After all my bleating on Friday I ended up getting a chance to do a
mellow
150kms around Cape Point & Chapman's Peak.

Ten minutes out of Simons town I came blasting around a dry section and
then
had to come to a complete halt with a troop of baboons in the road, 10
to 15
of them.

They didn't look too friendly, and lately people have been complaining
that
they are becoming aggressive, so I decided not to try ride through the
troop. An adult male would do a lot of damage to a human if it
attacked.

First time I've had to avoid wild animals with serious teeth!
