Re: [ST] Siezed Hub



Are they talking about the bearings, or the where the hub rotates in the swing arm? If it's the movement in the swingarm, I had that happen to me. I dissassembled the rear section, cleaner the rear caliper mount and the hub assembly, used silver never sieze where the two parts mate, both the side surface as well as the round hold surface, then reinstalled. This seemed to have taken care of the problem without any real expense, other than my time, and about  $0.30 worth of never sieze. Just make sure everything is very clean, both with a wire brush and solvent, before applying the compound and reassembling.
