[ST] For what it's worth

unless there is a lesson to be learned, or if posting details about a local
accident teaches a lesson that keeps one of us from making a stupid
mistake, I say it is not a waste of bandwidth.
RD= I agree with Duncan for once! But I'd just as soon waste
bandwidth on this as what oil, tires, or chain is best:-) Remember, they
may be a stranger to you but it just might be that new friend I met at the
last non ST Rallye.

I'm on several other Motorcycle lists too, Bob. This being the only "bike
specific" list in the bunch.
RD= Uh, Stevie is the Motolist not bike specific?

But it seems to be a good balance these days.
RD= I agree but I really miss the original Dawg pound:-( Stay with us
if your still here. Your family. Dweebs!

It's hot'r un hell around here, nothing helps, except COLD beer. So I just
park my monkey butt on the couch and chill :-) Ohhhhh, come on September
!!!
      RD = Amen.

Brakes - I'll tell you it's a pain getting to the rear brake. A real pain.
I ended up taking the rear tire off so I'd have working room.
RD= Hey, I remove mine with a shallow socket and flex joint without
the hassle.

It was an easy job, once I had the tire off (after taking off the exhaust
and loosening the frigging luggage rack)
RD= Hey, you can remove the wheel without removing the bracket. Pivot
the bottom of the tire to the shifter side as you rotate the spokes gap in
alignment with the axle and then keep going to the left.

I will say it is absolutely amazing on how much black crud comes off of the
calipers when you spray cleaner on them. RD= Newspaper, it gotta be worth
something besides bad news.
