[ST] Tiger info

Could anyone enlighten me on the shortcomings (apart from weight) of the Tiger 
955 as an 'adventure' style of bike?  How does it stack up againt the 
R1150GSA?  Are they generally reliable and tough? I'm planning some riding 
overseas and some of the roads may be little more than tracks.  I'm tempted to 
give it a go on the Sprint but something tells me all those pretty fairing bits 
wouldn't last long :o)
