[ST] the silly season is here

On my way to work (by cage this morning) I was busy telling my passenger how difficult it is to feed into the freeway from the M5 off ramp onto the N2 on a bike in the mornings without being flattened by dozy cage pilots.

That particular section is treacherous, five lanes of criss crossing mayhem in the mornings.

The words were just out of my mouth when the traffic stopped.  100m further on there was a wrecked Ducati Multistrada, the front suspension completely missing, and the rider lying next to it.

He was getting attention from a traffic cop - the ambulance hadn't arrived yet. He didn't look badly hurt but they hadn't taken his helmet off. Hopefully he doesn't have a neck/ back injury.

So here's my Christmas wish to you lot : keep safe and watch out for the morons.
