I like the idea of luggage that can be re-used on a future bike, and,
although I enjoyed the convenience/security/capacity of the OEM hard
bags on my previous ST, I can't really justify the expense this time
around.

About the only thing I'm not thrilled about is the LOOK of the Ventura
setup, particularly when the rack and bag are removed.  In the pictures
the L-bracket appears to be fairly unobtrusive, but on the BMW I saw in
person that had this setup, it wasn't.  But then again, it was a BMW ;-)

Anyone have any comments, or maybe some better pictures than on the
Ventura site?
