Re: [ST] RS/ST Lift handle



Ummm Howard,

A direct quote from the 'Luggage Fitting Instructions - Sprint ST':

"5 .  At the left side of the motorcycle, undo the two M8 bolts securing
the lifting handle.  Remove the seat lock assembly from the handle and
detach from the lock.  Remove the lifting handle.  Retain (for reuse)
the two M8 bolts and the lock mechanism with its securing screws.

6.  Assemble the replacement lifting handle from the supplied kit, as
shown below."

The handle referred to in 5. is the solid metal piece that runs between
the seat lock and the footpeg bracket, parallel to the bodywork.  The
replacement is the one with the swivel handle.
