I like this topic and am prejudice to the chain oiler that I have installed on my ST. I have a Pro-Oiler.
This oiler is based on distance traveled. It is not based on any other factors. It has a controller that measure the rotations of the front wheel (I undertand it has been updated to tap into the electric speedo). Then it dispenses oil via a micropump to a dual feed dispenser to the chain.
I installed one on my ST and I decided to make a web page of it. You can reach it at: http://tinyurl.com/6hc82
I have used this for about 10k miles on my ST so far and I'm very happy with it! Most people I know that have one, like it very much. But them I am a little biased....

Can you tell I'm getting anxious for the new season...
Not to start a debate, but what automatic chain oilers are now available and
how do they stack up? Is the Scott-oiler still preferred?
