I think you are correct Capt'n. My second Sprint, the redhead, did not come
with panniers and does not have any type lift handle, I just have to grab
the subframe. It's a bitch too.
(I don't miss the panniers, BTW, not nearly as much as I thought I would.
Do have a set of the softpanniers, for when I need the space). I can take
4-5 day trips with just the space in my soft tail pack, RKA seat pack, and
big ole tank bag (tourmaster).
