I have been thinking about getting some sort of chain oiler for sometime and
have heard all sorts of arguments for and against.
I get between 10,000 to 20,000 kms from a chain and sprockets depending on
how fussy I am about keeping it clean and lubed.
My thinking is that if I am to go to the expense and also have another
attachment that needs to be maintained, it should extend the life of the chain
considerably and also be convenient and easy to use.
What sort of mileage are you people with these oiling systems getting from
your chains?
