Yeah, me too , what he said, except after 3 years and about 60,000 miles
mine aren't waterproof anymore.  I'm getting a pair of Triumph's Touring
boots to replace them.  I have had numerous Triumph products over the
years and have found them well worth the money.

I have a pair of Triumph Explorers and like them a lot. Very
comfortable, don't look too weird in public, and keep my feet dry.
Probably not as much protection as more track-oriented boot, but they
work for me.
