It is interesting to note that there is a nice gap to help force the water
through the oil seal into the rear bearings. Most shops will use a acid
cleaner in the pressure washer as well. This cleaner is designed to remove
grease and oil. I nearly always give the seals a squirt with chain lube
afterwards. I do the same when it comes apart.
