I have used the BMW part number you list. It is cheaper ($13.50) than
from Triumph and appears to be exactly the same and has given me no
trouble (done about 4.5K miles since then). This part is used in some
BMW motorcycles.

Subject: [ST] Replacement Fuel Filters
In searching the web I found lots of references to a exact replacement
Triumph in tank fuel filter. One was a BMW part number 16 14 2 325 859
and another, possibly a Ducatic part, part number unknown. On
one list a guy listed a Purolator F20011, AC GF61, Fram G2, Motocraft
FG-2, Wix 33032, and Napa Gold 3032 all as direct replacements. Funny,
a lot of them don't cross to each other. Has anyone actually used these
car fuel filters in their "in tank" system? If so how did it do?
Thanks,
Rod
